Dr. Ivan Vicković has been working as a veterinarian since 2002. He received his doctorate in the field of veterinary clinical sciences in 2007, and in 2012 he completed his specialization in the field of diseases of dogs and cats.
He is the founder of a specialist veterinary practice for dogs and cats. He is a member of several international associations specialized in diseases of dogs and cats. He completed additional education and specialist education in the USA and Europe. In recent years, his areas of special interest are internal diseases of cats, especially endocrinology and reproduction and behavioral problems of dogs and cats.
Privately, dr. Vicković is a former licensed search and rescue dog handler for rescuing people from rubble with his now-deceased german shepard Vila. He was a member of the Intervention Specialist Unit for Protection and a colleague in Voluntary Fire Brigade DVD Prečko.
He is currently working with his young working German shepherd in the field of sports working cynology, attack and defence and tracking.

For adult dogs and dogs with already developed behavioral problems, we only organize individual trainings or work in small training groups. If this type of work or the location of our school does not suit you, we will be happy to refer you to colleagues who we are sure have a lot of knowledge and experience in working with dogs.
Dog School Samo psi has its training ground above Gajnice on Zelena magistrala and in Brdovac near Zaprešić.
Magna Canis holds courses at the embankment location near Kockica and in Samobor.

Tanja's association Magna Canis has been operating continuously since 2016, offering basic and advanced obedience courses.
In addition to regular work with her dogs and activity in other kennel clubs, in the last 6 years of their work, they have already successfully held 156 dog training courses in Zagreb, Samobor, Velika Gorica and, at the very beginning, also in Sisak 😊.

Boarding for dogs
Marija Lukac runs the Lea's Urban Oasis guesthouse, 600m² located on the beautiful green slopes below Medvednica.
The boarding house is of an open type, where the dogs are housed in a family environment, so the stress of separation from the owner is significantly less.
When they finish playing in the yard, they share the house with Marija and her three dogs - the English greyhound Shai, rescued after an injury on the racetrack in Ireland, and 2 Lagotto romagnolo bitches. Mare is a biologist by profession, and for 15 years she has been riding in different disciplines - field riding, show jumping, endurance. In 2010, Mare acquired a German shepherd, Lea, after whom the guesthouse is named today. With Lea, Marija started working with dogs, they competed in agility, even up to the level of participation in the Agility European Open competition, and she also worked on socialization, nutrition and maintaining fitness with IGP and rescue dogs. In the spirit of lifelong education, she is currently attending the Karolinas Westlund-illis academy for Advanced Animal Training. This year, she also opened a kennel for the lagotto romagnolo "Crazy Curls" breed. Her door is always open for visits and she is available for all your questions.
